Sometimes the theme of a Dolly spread can be somewhat ambiguous. Take this 'Making Tracks' editorial for example. With winter woollies in blacks and purples, the connection to the title is that the model has been photographed around an abandoned train yard. I love how weirdass Dolly could get, especially in the '80s. For Dolly staffers creativity was key.
Most of the pieces in this spread could easily be thrown on a gal in 2016, and I've got an accessories boner for the beanie, fingerless gloves, and arm band fashioned from a paisley scarf on the last page.
